The landscape is shifting for visual artists and craftspeople. With many art festivals and craft fairs canceled in response to the coronavirus pandemic, there is a new urgency around artists' online shops.
For makers of one-of-a-kind work, selling work online means the creation of lots and lots of listings in their online shops. And that adds up to hours and hours that could be spent in the studio.
My Online Shop Assistant service is intended to help make this process less painful for you. The service allows you to delegate the creation of listings to a trusted, experienced website manager, freeing up more time for you to do the work you love doing.
- Step 1: I’ll create a Style Guide for your listings. This is based on how you want your listings to be titled, described, categorized, and so forth. (Returning customers can skip this step.)
- Step 2: You’ll send me photos and measurements of your work. (Bonus: Your measurement notes can even be hand-written, if you don’t want to type them up.)
- Step 3: After you grant me access to your online shop, I’ll create an unpublished test listing for you to approve.
- Step 4: Following your approval of the test listing, I’ll create the rest of your listings, saving them as unpublished drafts.
- Step 5: You review the listings and identify any details that need to be changed. I will make 1 round of revisions based on your feedback.
